When I was a teenager, my grandmother and I would ride along country roads, and now and then, she'd acknowledge a tree. She'd say, "Look at that tree, ain't it beautiful"?  Then she'd say, "You can tell a tree by the fruit it bears, or the apple doesn't fall far from the tree because trees are a symbol of family, and a multitude of generations will come from them.
My grandmother is no longer with us, but her memory is kept alive in my heart when I see a beautiful tree. One of our favorite pastimes was facials on the weekends. She taught me how to care for my skin the best way she knew how making me conscious of how to nourish my complexion. It wasn't until years later I realized my grandmother helped me see beauty in trees and the nurturing of skin that became a foundation for FROM THE TREE skincare.
